|
New features added in version 2.0 include: Transitions
You can select from a number of visual transitions between parts of your screencast. Creating them is as easy as dragging the two clips on each other. YouTube upload
You can upload your screencast directly to your YouTube account. Action curves
Actions applied to clips, such as rescalings, volume changes, or rotations, can be applied gradually with different curve types, making for smoother changes when needed. Freeze frames
You can create a freeze frame, stopping the progress of the video for a time you set, as a transition or as a pause for an explanation of what is going on. Clip speed
You can easily change the playout speed of a clip by alt-dragging on the ends of the clip. Clip locking
To avoid accidentally modifying clips you are satisfied with, you can lock them while working with other clips. Clip context menu
Popping up a context menu with editing actions right at the clip you are working with speeds up your work. Audio detaching
The audio track can be detached from a video clip, forming an audio clip that can be independently edited. An audio track is visually represented by its waveform throughout the clip. If you wish, you can listen to the audio even when scrubbing back and forth along the clip timeline. Audio ducking
Audio ducking automatically lowers the volume of the other audio tracks when the narrator speaks. Markers
You can insert markers in your timeline, serving as reference points while editing or in the final screencast video. Video quality
You can adjust the saturation, brightness, and contrast of all video material. You can also set options that affect the recording quality. Paste adjustments
Properties such as scaling, rotation and reflection can be copied between clips. Hide Desktop
For an uncluttered background to your screencast you can hide all icons on your Desktop. |
